Santa's Workshop is a demo of Supabase Compute: a process that stays up next to the database, instead of a function that starts and stops on every request.
Always on
The elves are waiting before your letter arrives. The badge up top is the real uptime of this process.
Remembers
Santa keeps your chat in the process memory, and the workshop recognizes returning families.
A studio with no door
Videos come from a private Python + ffmpeg service that only listens to a queue in Postgres.
Live for everyone
Supabase Realtime moves every envelope on the belt for all players at once.
